Hey guys, I’m back with another great couponing tip, this time it’s Understanding Catalinas. Catalinas are basically store credits you earn through grocery stores, you earn them by spending a certain amount of money in order to get that “store credit”. For example, Dove products just had a catalina promotion at Shoprite recently if you spend $12 on certain Dove products, you would get $3 off your future shopping order. Usually the $12 requirement is met BEFORE you present coupons. So, if I spend $12 on Dove products, I can use $12 worth of coupons and still get the $3 catalina. The catalina prints out after your transaction is completed. I like to use catalinas to pay for meat and produce to offset the grocery costs. This weekend Shoprite will be having a catalina deal, so may sure you guys stay tuned for the deal!
