DIY Mod Podge
Here is the recipe for DIY Mod Podge, chances are you already have the supplies on hand! It can’t get any simpler than this!
Mix the water & white glue in a container (I like to use mason jars) and stir or shake really well. That’s it, sooo easy! All Mod Podge is, is equal parts white glue and water.
Tip for the water, after you add the white glue to the jar, fill the bottle with water so you know it’s 4 oz!
Do you guys remember when I got that glue for free?! If not, read here: CVS Haul, $1.78 Moneymaker!
To be honest, I’m not crazy about homemade Mod Podge because I find the paper gets too bubbly using this, but this is a great alternative if you’re pinching your pennies or in my case, too lazy to go out for one thing! If you do prefer the “real” Mod Podge, Target carries a sample size in the dollar section (have I mentioned how much I LOVE the dollar section?!). Also, all of the craft stores carry the “real” Mod Podge, but make sure you use a coupon! Also, check back soon because I will be showing you how to coupon at Michaels, yup!, that’s right-Couponing at Michaels! Does it get any better than that?!
