Isn’t this so cute?! Nothing says Christmas to me more than having a Hot Cocoa Bar! I set this up for the Christmas brunch that I’m hosting for my kids and their friends and best of all, it was cheap!
The tray is from a couple of years ago that I made for around $8, I’ll get those plans to you guys soon, but don’t worry because I have another tray being made! The snowman mug was from Rite Aid last year at 75% off $20, the white milk jug is hot chocolate from Home Goods, I added the “Merry Christmas” sticker to it, those stickers are from Target’s dollar spot. The appetizer plates are also from the dollar spot, they come 2 in a pack for $3, and the white cake stand is also from Target’s dollar spot, that was also $3.
Now onto the cute soda bottles in the red soda crate! The soda bottles and soda crate are also from the dollar spot! Can you guys tell I’m obsessed?!?
These came 2 in a pack for $3.
This crate was $5.
First I took all the caps off and removed all the straws, the picture below I covered all the holes with scotch tape, I did that so the marshmallows wouldn’t get stale, I also did that so my kids wouldn’t take these and dump them upside down everywhere! I know you can’t see the picture that well, I had to do this at night while the kids were sleeping so they wouldn’t harass me for all those goodies!
Next I filled 2 soda bottles each with chocolate chips, marshmallows, and candy canes, I did break up the candy canes first to make them fit and believe me when I say it’s much cleaner to break them still wrapped!? It cost about $6 for all of this.
Then I added these stickers to the chalkboard plaque on the crate, my handwriting isn’t the best so these would have to make do! You can see where I added them below. The stickers are also from…. you guessed it, the dollar spot! They were only $1.
Then I added festive Christmas sayings to the soda bottles with a different sheet of stickers, also from the dollar spot! You can see them below.
These are the stickers I chose, they say “Merry Christmas”, “Oh What Fun”, and “Deck the Halls”. I cut the stickers to fit the bottles and this is how it looked….
Sorry but that is the only soda bottle I took a picture of, by this point one of the kids had woke up and I went into panic mode so they wouldn’t see this!?
So, they you have it! An easy, cute, and very festive Hot Cocoa Bar!
