My Top 5 Home Decor Places to Shop
I have compiled this list to show you guys where I love to shop to find most of my favorite home decor at steep discounts! I love the farmhouse, rustic, industrial look but let’s face it, that does not come at a bargain! Below are My Top 5 Home Decor Places to Shop! So, here it goes….
- Target (this will be split up into 2 sections)
Target Dollar Spot- I know, I know! I have an obsession (almost stalkerish, I don’t think that’s a word but I’m making it now!) with the dollar spot, by now you guys are probably so sick of hearing about it! You guys really need to head over there and see why I plan my days around it! The home decor they have there is amazing! You can find organization supplies, school supplies, crafts, wrapping paper, gift bags, holiday decor and the list goes on and on, most of this can be found anywhere from $1.00 to $3.00, some items are $5.00. I do suggest if you find something you like grab it while you can. There have been times I hesitated about buying something and I went the next day it was completely sold out. I will be adding my Dollar Spot trips to show you guys all the goodies that you can find there!
Target Clearance
The clearance can always be found on the end caps of the store, I will also be posting Targets clearance schedule so you guys know when to look for something! I do find Targets home decor to be a little over priced, I think of Target as a discount store but their prices on home decor do not reflect that! Always check Target Cartwheel if you see something that you really want for additional savings, tip: most of the times Cartwheel is NOT valid on clearance items. I have found so many great home decor items for dirt cheap shopping the end caps, next time I find awesome deals I will show you guys what I’m talking about!

2. Christmas Tree Shop
For anyone that doesn’t live in the Northeast, they do have a website you can shop from but it is not as good as the store. Christmas Tree Shop is owned by Bed Bath & Beyond and they are a discount store specializing in closeouts. Don’t let the name fool you! They carry seasonal items all throughout the year, not just Christmas items. For example, right now they have a lot of storage and organizational items as well as Super Bowl items, by the summer you will see a lot of beach, boating and summery decor. They also have a small food section kind of like Home Goods but not as gourmet and they also have Harmon available in stores! You CANNOT use Bed Bath & Beyond coupons in store or online but you can sign up for email and receive email subscribers only coupons! Most of the coupons are $10.00 off your $50.00 purchase, I know that doesn’t sound like a lot but believe me, $50.00 goes a long way there!

3. Michaels
I love this store, not just for the crafts but also for the home decor! Make sure you buy it at 50% off or otherwise it’s too expensive! They have the best prices in baskets, beating out Home Goods! Sometimes you can even get 25% off your entire purchase including sale items to really maximize your savings. 4. Kirklands
Oh how I love thee! This is an absolute must for me when scouring for farmhouse finds at frugal prices. I live in NY and the nearest Kirklands is 3 hours away from me but I make it a point to go there once a year, luckily for me you can shop online but it’s not the same as being in the store! For those of you not familiar with Kirklands, the best way for me to describe it, it’s like Home Goods, only everything is mass produced with Home Goods prices sometimes better than Home Goods prices! 5. Hobby Lobby
This is also a must for me to check out, sadly the closet Hobby Lobby is out of state so it’s really not that convenient for me to shop here, but I do try to save my purchases for when they offer free shipping. I could spend countless hours browsing their site, who am I kidding?! Guilty of that! It is so easy to get lost and dream about what I could do with all of that stuff! I am planning a trip with my family within the next few weeks where the closest Hobby Lobby will only be 10 minutes away from where we are staying, I already warned my hubby we WILL be making a stop! Yes… back on subject, Hobby Lobby really does have great home decor but also like Michaels make sure you buy it on sale, unless it’s something you really want use your 40% off coupon for that. These are all my favorite Home Decor Places to Shop! Some of you may be surprised I didn’t add Home Goods to this and to be honest so am I! I did base this list off convenience and Home Goods is not convenient when you have little kids in tow! Nothing is worse than trying to take your time to admire everything you want and have kids screaming and crying they want to go home! All of these places I can shop at from home with the exception of Targets Dollar Spot but my kids also love being in the Dollar Spot so I don’t look at it as torture being there with them! I hope this list helped you guys, I would love for you guys to add to the list!
