I thought this would be nice to show you guys just in time for Mother’s Day or maybe for someone else in your life going through a hard time. The quote says “To the world you may be one person but to one person you may be the world”. It is a beautiful and inspirational quote that someone may need to hear. As a mother to a daughter I feel the pain she goes through, with the boys-it is so different, they don’t hold and harbor emotions the way girls do. So, instead of me giving this to my mother or mother in law, I thought it would be nice to make this for my daughter and give it to her for Mother’s Day. Sometimes the smallest act of kindness and nice words will change a person and I hope it can change my daughters perception of certain things. So, here it goes…..
Supplies Needed:
Chalkboard Easel
Scrapbook Paper
Mini Clips
Inspirational Quote Stickers
Hot Glue Gun & Glue Sticks
Step 1: Take one of your mini clips and hot glue it to the chalkboard easel. I found the easel in the Dollar Spot at Target recently, I was just there this morning and they still have them! If you can’t find it in Target, they have them in the wood crafting aisle in Michaels. The mini clips, I ordered from Amazon awhile back but they still have them and I have provided the link below:
Step 2: Cut a piece of scrapbook paper to fit smaller than the easel but bigger than the sticker. The scrapbook paper is from Michaels, make sure you buy it on sale or use a coupon!
Step 3: Clip on your scrap piece of paper on the clip
Step 4: Stick your sticker on the paper, the sticker came in a set from Hobby Lobby, it was with the Scrapbooking supplies and the link is below:
