Hey guys, I’m back with another easy recipe just in time for Memorial Day Weekend! I know I haven’t posted recipes for awhile, I have been so busy with other projects and by the time I start cooking I forget to take the pictures!?
So, this time I’m making it up to you guys and remembered to take pictures and post it!☺️
Well anyways, this is a fast dessert to prepare except for waiting for the jello to cool off! You have to cool off the jello in layers, so that took about 6 hours but other than that it took about 5 minutes to make the desserts and I made 20 of them! In case you want to make a Patriotic appetizer instead, read here: American Flag Taco Dip.
Ingredients Needed:
3 Boxes Red Jello (Strawberry)
3 Boxes Blue Jello (Berry Blue)
Whip Cream
Red, White & Blue Sprinkles
In the pictures it only shows 2 boxes of each jello, I forgot the other boxes were still in the bags!
Supplies Needed:
20 Plastic Tumblers
20 American Flag Picks
I found the cups and the flags at the Dollar Tree.
STEP 1:
Boil the water for the Jello, once boiled pour it over the red mixture, let that cool down to room temperature before pouring into plastic cups. Once it’s cooled down fill the cups a 1/3 of the way and place in the fridge for at least 3 hours.
STEP 2:
Follow the same steps as above, this time with the blue Jello.
STEP 3:
Top with whip cream, sprinkles and American Flag. If you want to make this in advance use cool whip, it won’t deflate like whip cream!
How easy was that?! You can switch up any of the colors for any Holidays or just make it like this any time of year!
