In honor of National Baby Safety Month, Target will take in used car seats and expired car seats to ensure your little one is safe! Starting from September 10-23, most Target stores (with the exception of small format stores) will be accepting the used car seats to trade in for a 20% coupon that you can use for a brand new car seat, booster seats, car seat bases or travel systems. Tip: To check whether your car seat is expired, check the sides of your car seat for the manufacturer date, if it is past 6 – 10 years it is expired. It does depend on the manufacturer how many years you have before it is expired, and if you cannot find the date, contact the manufacturer and they will let you know.
