Homemade Cat Treats
Hey guys, I’m back with another great recipe for your little fur ball! These Homemade Cat Treats can be made in 30 minutes. Recently we had taken the kids to North Carolina for a trip and we came home with a kitten! I know, it’s absolutely crazy adding another addition to our family with 5 kids and a dog! My kids have been asking for years to get a cat and I kept telling them no, finally when we were in North Carolina, they found a stray kitten the first night and brought the kitten back to us! They kept asking if we could take the cat home and we told them to clean up for the entire week while we were away and we could take the cat home. The kids frantically started cleaning-they NEVER clean, we couldn’t go back on our word, so that is how the new addition got added!
We did make sure with the owners of the property that the cat did not belong to anyone before we took him home. The kitten is absolutely adorable and we all have been enjoying spoiling him! That is where I came up with the idea to make some homemade treats for him, and it’s a great way to get the kids involved! The have been feeding the cat the treats at every opportunity they get!
My kids decided to name the cat Felicia not knowing at the time the cat was a boy, so the name kinda stuck!

INGREDIENTS:
1 7oz. Canned Tuna undrained 1/2 Cup Cornmeal 1/2 Cup Flour 1 Egg Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients and mix well.

This is how it should look after everything is mixed.

With your hands, shape the tuna mixture into little balls and place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Place it in the oven at 350 degrees for 12 minutes.

Here he is enjoying his treats!

Store in an airtight jar, I chose mason jars for mine! The kids had a great time helping me make this! As long as it involves cracking the eggs they are willing to help!
