Hey guys, I’m back with another great Christmas craft with supplies found in Target’s Dollar Spot! The “Welcome to our Winter Wonderland” words were only $3! The DPCI Number can be found below with a link to Brickseek.com. Can you tell I’m just a little Christmas obsessed?! All the snowflakes I already had on hand from previous years, but you can find similar ones at Hobby Lobby or here: large snowflakes, and here: small snowflakes.
The long sign I did find at Hobby Lobby already pre-assembled and painted, also on sale! If you can’t find the sign on sale, just use the 40% off coupon which you can print or get on your phone. You can see the sale schedule here: Hobby Lobby’s Sale Schedule. You can find the sign here: White washed wood frame.
There are no tools required for this craft!
I love how the sign came out!!! For my other no tools required DIY Christmas sign, also made with supplies from the Dollar Spot, read here: DIY Christmas Gift Bag Sign.
SUPPLIES NEEDED:
Wood Sign (here)
Welcome To Our Winter Wonderland Words
Wood Snowflakes (here) and (here)
White Glitter
E6000 Glue
Small Paintbrush
Step 1:
The snowflakes I had were already painted white, so I put a thin layer of mod podge on the snowflakes and sprinkled them with white glitter. I already had the white glitter, that I found in the Dollar Spot from previous years. If you can’t find the glitter there, you can always get it from Dollar Tree. Let that dry for a bit, when it dries, gently shake off the excess glitter and repeat with more glitter. I only did this step 2 times.

Step 2:
I first removed the sawtooth hanger on the back of the sign so I had a flat and even surface to work with. I then layed out the words how I wanted them and measured space for the “welcome to our” words from the top. You can see in the picture below I drew a straight line so all the words would line up perfectly straight. Once all the words was how I wanted it, I took some E6000 glue with a very small paintbrush and dabbed the back of the words with the glue. You can use hot glue for this but the problem with the hot glue is it dries too fast. I wanted time to able to play around with arranging the letters and words, and the E6000 gives me some drying time!

Step 3:
Once all the words were glued on, I added the snowflakes how I wanted them and used the E6000 for the snowflakes.
This project is so customizable, you can use any words you want or any wood shapes you like! This project cost me $11 to make and now I have new Christmas wall decor for my house! To check out the items from the Dollar Spot, read here: Target Dollar Spot Christmas 2019.
