DIY Rose Water Linen Spray
Hey guys, I’m back with another great and easy DIY Linen spray! This DIY Rose Water Linen Spray is perfect for spring cleaning! Over the weekend it was so nice here on Long Island, I decided to get a head start on my spring cleaning and made this to freshen up everything in my house. Recently over Presidents week we were in North Carolina and it was freezing there the whole week, that when we came home to 50 degree weather, it felt like spring! There is something about nice weather that makes me want to clean and I really really enjoy cleaning! I know I must sound crazy to some people but I find it so therapeutic!

I also really like the scent of a clean house without it smelling like a hospital! One of the benefits to this linen spray is there are no harsh chemicals, I know exactly what I’m putting on my furniture and sheets. I do love the smell of candles but I don’t burn them because I still have young kids and there are so many unneeded ingredients in them, so this Rose Water linen spray gives me a fresh scent without all the harmful ingredients!
This will take about 20 minutes to make including boiling the water, it’s that easy!!
All you need is dried rose petals, water and an empty spray bottle, I used an empty Mrs. Meyers bottle.
I have all the links provided below to the exact products I used.
Step 1:
Boil 3 cups of water. Once the water is done boiling, pour the hot water over the rose petals and let that steep for 10 minutes. I used a mason jar for this.
Step 2:
Carefully pour your rose water mixture into a spray bottle with a funnel on top the bottle. Add 20 drops of rose essential oil to the mixture and shake well. Now you are ready to spray your house! I use this on curtains, bed sheets and my couch. This will not last long, I use the bottle within a day. Anytime you have water, you have to worry about mold, eew! So, this is always a last minute DIY!
