DIY Rose Water
Hey guys, I’m back with another great beauty DIY! This DIY Rose Water has so many benefits that you can easily add to your daily beauty regimen, and the best part – it can be made in less than 10 minutes! I use dried rose petals for this, but you can substitute with fresh rose petals. It’s a lot more cost efficient to buy the dried rose petals!

I use this rose water for a variety of things. I add a couple of drops to my conditioner and let that sit for a few minutes before rinsing it out. I add a few drops to witch hazel to use as a toner, I use this as a facial rinse after I wash my face with regular facial cleanser, I also add a few drops of rose water to my facial moisturizer. You could even add this to a bath!
Contains Antioxidants
Has anti-inflammatory properties
Can help in reducing appearance of wrinkles
Has antiseptic and antibacterial properties
I have all the links provided below to the exact products I used.
Step 1:
Boil the water, when the water is done boiling, pour the hot water over the rose petals and let that steep for 10 minutes. I used a mason jar for this.
Step 2:
Carefully pour your rose water mixture into an empty glass bottle with a funnel on top the bottle. You can store it in the mason jar, I just really like the look of the jar below! Now, you can start to enjoy the benefits of rose water!
This will not last long, I use the bottle within a day. Anytime you have water, you have to worry about mold, eew! So, this is always a last minute DIY! That is why I make such a little amount at a time, you can double the amount, just make sure you store it in the fridge and it will last for 3 days at the most. I usually make this along with my DIY Rose Water Linen Spray, so I don’t have to waste anything!
