DIY Body Oil
25 Days of Christmas, Day 3
Hey guys, I’m back with another easy 2 minute gift idea! This fast absorbing DIY Body Oil is great for dry skin, the best part-it’s loaded with vitamins that will help nourish your skin.
These DIY Body Oils only use 3 ingredients, depending on the blends of essential oils you choose to use. I’m not a fan of lotions because I find them too greasy. I know what you’re probably thinking…Oils? Isn’t that too greasy, but it’s not at all. These oils absorb really fast into your skin and you can put your clothes on right after without your clothes getting stuck to your skin!!!
Also, these oils are safe and not loaded without harmful chemicals that you can’t pronounce! That is a win for me!
Everyday from December 1st to Christmas day, I will be showing you all Christmas crafts, offering a free printable or a favorite Christmas recipe! Make sure to check back everyday for those posts, or better yet-sign up for my emails so you don’t miss anything!

I do have the links provided below to show you where I got it from and what I used.
Amber Glass Bottles (here)
1/4 Cup of Jojoba Oil (here)
1/4 Cup of Sweet Almond Oil (here)
1/2 Teaspoon of Vitamin E Oil (here)
10 Drops of Jasmine Absolute Essential Oil (similar here)
6 Drops of Orange Essential Oil (similar here)
Funnel (optional-here)
If you want the exact Jasmine essential oil I used, you can check out Artisan Oil’s Facebook Page, they currently do not have a website. The Jasmine Oil is $65 for 5mL.
In a mixing bowl combine all your oils and mix together. Pour into a glass amber bottles, having a funnel definitely makes this step easier.
I chose to use 2 oz bottles so I can give them out to different people plus I’m adding other homemade beauty products to the gift! You could use bigger bottles and just keep this for yourself!
I did use Jasmine Essential Oil which is VERY expensive for that tiny little bottle, you could omit the Jasmine and use other essential oil blends below. Or you could just have fun creating your own scents! If you want the exact Jasmine essential oil I used, you can check out Artisan Oil’s Facebook Page, they currently do not have a website. The Jasmine Oil is $65 for 5mL.
10 Drops of Ylang Ylang
6 Drops of Orange Essential Oil
11 Drops of Lavender Essential Oil
5 Drops of Rosemary Essential Oil
12 Drops of Grapefruit Essential Oil
