DIY Dollar Tree Picture Frame
25 Days of Christmas, Day 18
Hey guys, I’m back with a easy craft! This DIY Dollar Tree Picture Frame was made with supplies found at the Dollar Tree and it only cost me $2! I already had all the other supplies on hand.
I found these wood pieces in the craft aisle at the Dollar Tree already cut, so there are no tools required for this project! I also used wallet sized photos that came with my kids school pictures this year. It’s a great way to use up those wallet sized prints.
If you don’t have any wallet sized prints, you can just cut other pictures you have or you can check out these other options: DIY Farmhouse Shadowbox Picture Frame, DIY Christmas Picture Frame, and here: DIY Photo Frame For Mothers Day.
Everyday from December 1st to Christmas day, I will be showing you all Christmas crafts, offering a free printable or a favorite Christmas recipe! Make sure to check back everyday for those posts, or better yet-sign up for my emails so you don’t miss anything! For yesterday’s post, read here: Sugared Cranberries.

I could not find the wood planks on Dollar Tree’s site, they do have similar items on Amazon.
To attach the long pieces of wood together, I used hot glue on the edges and stuck them together. If I were to use wood glue, it would’ve taken to long to dry and I couldn’t clamp the wood together because of how thin it is. Next I used wood glue and attached another long piece going down the back of the frame. Then I also used wood glue again to attach the square piece to the front.
I painted the longer pieces of wood white and the smaller piece I stained with dark walnut stain. Let the stain sit on for a few minutes and rub it off with a paper towel. While the paint and stain was drying I cut out the picture I wanted to use.
I used hot glue to attach the clothespin, you could use whatever clips you may have.
