25 Days of Christmas – Day 1
Rolled beeswax candles are the easiest handmade candles to make. You don’t need to melt the wax, you don’t need a melt pot or stove, and this is VERY kid friendly!
These beeswax candles are so easy to make and also makes for a great homemade gift that the kids get involved with! Handmade beeswax candles give your home an instant feeling of warmth and coziness during these winter months.

Cut a piece of wick, leaving about 1/2″ for the top of the candle. Place it at the edge of the candle. Press tightly to secure the wick.
Now you’re ready to start rolling the candles. Gently apply pressure as you roll, but be careful not to press too hard. The harder you push, you will make indents in the honeycomb pattern. Keep rolling until you reach the end of the sheet.
TIP: If you find the sheets are too hard to roll, run a hair dryer over it for 10 seconds to warm it up making it more pliable.
These candles look great as is, but I wanted to hand some out as gifts, so I decided on adding the ribbon and the faux rosemary for a festive touch!
WARNING: Take the ribbon and decorative elements off the candles before burning. Always watch the candles closely and have them in a safe candle holder if you have them lit. These burn quickly.
