25 Days of Christmas – Day 20

This Christmas Body Scrub is so simple and easy. It takes less than 5 minutes to make a batch which means it makes for a fantastic last minute gift idea!

You could really play around with this and add dried flowers, or try different combinations of essential oils. There are so many different options! I chose to add this Christmas Essential Oil Blend to mine.

Christmas Essential Oil Blend

25 Days of Christmas – Day 18

I love to make my home smell like Christmas, and that’s why I came up with this Christmas Essential Oil Blend. Just add a few drops to a diffuser and your house could smell just like Christmas!

Warm, comforting scents are one of the best ways add coziness to your home. I’m not a fan of candles with kids running all over the house, so I stick to my diffuser!

It’s also a natural way to scent your home, without all the harmful ingredients found in candles.

If you don’t have a diffuser, you could still try this: DIY Reed Diffuser, and Stovetop Potpourri. 

I did blend this with Frankincense essential oil, it’s on the pricier side but absolutely worth it. This really is a multi-purpose oil, I even add it to my skincare products. The benefits of Frankincense essential oil for diffusing can promote relaxation, and peace. I think we could all use some peace right now!

Homemade Goats Milk Soap

25 Days of Christmas – Day 17

Goats Milk Soap is a beautiful and easy gift to make. This isn’t like making regular soap where is you have to deal with lye, especially having little kids in the house, it’s not really practical for me to make. I love how easy this is to make.

I used essential oils, and vitamin E oil for this. You can customize this with different blends of oils, carrier oils, or butters. You can get even fancier than me and use different soap molds!

I like to add Vitamin E oil to my homemade products because it acts as a preservative ensuring a longer shelf life. Vitamin E oil is also know for its moisturizing, and repairing properties.

Christmas Hand Scrub

25 Days of Christmas – Day 15

Christmas Hand Scrub is the best thing ever to restore moisture to dry hands. With 5 kids comes A LOT of dishes!, I’m constantly washing dishes and my hands take a beating especially during the winter months.

I’m no stranger to homemade skincare products, so I thought I would give this a try, and I love how it turned out. I also love Christmas so I really wanted to try a blend of essential oils to smell like Christmas!

This recipe is simple and easy. It takes less than 5 minutes to make a batch which means it makes for a fantastic last minute gift idea!

You could really play around with this and add fresh herbs, dried lavender, fresh citrus zest, or even my DIY Thieves Oil! There are so many different options! I chose to add essential oils to mine.
