DIY Rose Oil Lip Balm

Hey guys, I’m back with another great beauty DIY! Remember, when I made this Rose Oil? Well I decided to make this DIY Rose Oil Lip Balm with the rose oil! This will make a great Mother’s Day gift which is right around the corner, can you believe it?! This DIY Rose Oil Lip Balm is super moisturizing and is only made with a few ingredients! I also made this printable that you can get by scrolling to the bottomof the page.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to make my own products. I know I’ve said this before but I can’t stress it enough, I know what I’m putting on my body and it’s not loaded with harmful ingredients. There’s also something very satisfying about making my own products, if I run out of what I use I don’t have to run out to the store, I can just whip up a batch of whatever I need! The best part about all of this, it takes 5 minutes to make and it can all be made right in your microwave! 5 minutes to make my own lip balm takes a lot less time than running out to the store!

I already had all the supplies I needed, so it didn’t cost me anything to make. If you do need to buy all of these supplies, it’ll cost about $30. I know it does sound like a lot, but it will get you a long way with how little of the ingredients you actually need to make these lip balms. You will have more than enough to make the other products at the bottom of the page!

DIY Himalayan Sea Salt Scrub

Hey guys, I’m back with another beauty DIY! This DIY Himalayan Sea Salt Scrub can be made with ingredients you already have in your house, I love making beauty products with kitchen ingredients because if it’s safe to eat, it’s safe to put on my body! I know I’ve said this before but I have to say it again and again, I LOVE to make my own products! There’s something about making my own beauty products that I really enjoy doing. I know what’s going on my body, and I don’t have to spend a fortune on the supplies. I think the best part about making all of this is being able to use it!

This sea salt scrub will also make for a great gift idea, you could add this to a spa themed gift basket along with other homemade beauty products, and it will be so much cheaper than buying one! You can see all the other great beauty products below.

This will take 5 minutes to make and will leave your skin feeling so soft.  You can use this pre shave for a smoother shave. I also suggest using this while taking a bath, it’s very oily, which means a slippery tub! The main ingredients are Himalayan sea, salt and coconut oil. I did add essential oils to this, but you don’t have to, I love the smell of citrus so that’s what I added.

I did make a DIY 2 Ingredient Lip Balm way back when, and I absolutely love that one, but I wanted something not as thick and creamy so I decided to make this one and I absolutely love it!!!! This Homemade Peppermint Lip Balm is super moisturizing and is perfect for the cold air! I sometimes also use this for my hands! I LOVE LOVE LOVE making my own products because I know what I’m putting on my body and it’s so fun and simple to do! Who doesn’t love receiving these as gifts?!
