Hey guys, I’m back with another great beauty DIY! Remember, when I made this Rose Oil? Well I decided to make this DIY Rose Oil Lip Balm with the rose oil! This will make a great Mother’s Day gift which is right around the corner, can you believe it?! This DIY Rose Oil Lip Balm is super moisturizing and is only made with a few ingredients! I also made this printable that you can get by scrolling to the bottomof the page.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to make my own products. I know I’ve said this before but I can’t stress it enough, I know what I’m putting on my body and it’s not loaded with harmful ingredients. There’s also something very satisfying about making my own products, if I run out of what I use I don’t have to run out to the store, I can just whip up a batch of whatever I need! The best part about all of this, it takes 5 minutes to make and it can all be made right in your microwave! 5 minutes to make my own lip balm takes a lot less time than running out to the store!

I already had all the supplies I needed, so it didn’t cost me anything to make. If you do need to buy all of these supplies, it’ll cost about $30. I know it does sound like a lot, but it will get you a long way with how little of the ingredients you actually need to make these lip balms. You will have more than enough to make the other products at the bottom of the page!

Hey guys, I’m back with another great beauty DIY just in time for mother’s day! This DIY Honey Body Wash is super moisturizing and luxurious without spending a fortune! What better way to spoil mom than to give her a homemade spa gift basket filled with ultra luxe homemade products that didn’t cost an arm and a leg! You all know how much I enjoy making my own products, it’s so fun to make, and it’s also so thoughtful to gift a homemade gift. It shows that you took the time out of your day to show appreciation for them, the best part is-they don’t know it took less than 5 minutes to make! 😉

That’s right, 5 minutes for a homemade gift to spoil someone! We only need a few ingredients for this body wash, you can totally skip out on the essential oils if you don’t have any, but if you do, definitely add it. I chose citrus essential oils for this, it is so energizing and uplifting with the morning shower. We just need honey, castile soap, and Vitamin E oil. If you don’t have Vitamin E, you could substitute with Jojoba Oil or Sweet Almond Oil.

Hey guys, I’m back with another beauty DIY! This DIY Himalayan Sea Salt Scrub can be made with ingredients you already have in your house, I love making beauty products with kitchen ingredients because if it’s safe to eat, it’s safe to put on my body! I know I’ve said this before but I have to say it again and again, I LOVE to make my own products! There’s something about making my own beauty products that I really enjoy doing. I know what’s going on my body, and I don’t have to spend a fortune on the supplies. I think the best part about making all of this is being able to use it!

This sea salt scrub will also make for a great gift idea, you could add this to a spa themed gift basket along with other homemade beauty products, and it will be so much cheaper than buying one! You can see all the other great beauty products below.

This will take 5 minutes to make and will leave your skin feeling so soft.  You can use this pre shave for a smoother shave. I also suggest using this while taking a bath, it’s very oily, which means a slippery tub! The main ingredients are Himalayan sea, salt and coconut oil. I did add essential oils to this, but you don’t have to, I love the smell of citrus so that’s what I added.

Hey guys, I’m back with another great beauty DIY! This DIY Rose Oil can be made in an afternoon and can be added to your beauty regimen. There are many benefits of rose oil which I will get into more below! If you guys have been following me for awhile, you know how much I love making my own stuff! I am an extreme couponer so it did take me some time to rationalize spending money to buy all the supplies, when using coupons I could get these products almost free! After awhile I decided to take the plunge and purchase the supplies I needed to make my own beauty products for a variety of reasons.

A. I only buy 4 Sunday papers at a time, sometimes 4 papers don’t cut it to stock up for 6 months worth of supplies! 4 Sunday papers only equal 4 coupons for a particular product, that I would wind up paying full price at times for items I would pay next to nothing for.

B. The products I was buying are loaded with harmful chemicals that I was putting on my body, potentially doing long term damage to my body, which will cost more in the long run with medical expenses.

C. It’s just so much for fun to make your own products! You get to be in charge of what goes into your body. I have so much fun concocting different beauty recipes to try out! The best part is you don’t have to experiment because I already did the experimenting for you!

I love using this on my hair, take very little oil and rub it onto the ends of your oil. I use this in place of moroccan oil. You can mix this with your facial moisturizer for extra  moisturization, you can dab this onto pimples (there is no need to use a carrier oil for this part because we are making it with a carrier oil). You can even use this to help with eczema and rosacea. 

All you need is some dried rose petals, sweet almond oil, and an empty glass jar, I used a mason jar for this.

Helps with depression and anxiety
