Hey guys, I’m back with another great money saving tip and it’s how to get a free turkey for Thanksgiving!  I know, we’re still recouping from our kids’ sugar highs, but I have Thanksgiving on my mind, I feel like it just crept on us and there’s only 3 weeks left til Thanksgiving!  I’m hosting Thanksgiving this year and I need to start hauling and stocking up on the food now!  It is so expensive for a turkey, have you ever checked the prices when they are not in season?  Turkeys are about $50-$60!!!  I also do get a 25 pound turkey because I love having leftovers and not worry about what I’m going to feed my family after I just entertained for a house full of people!?

Hey guys, I’m back with more great shopping tips for Hobby Lobby, don’t go out til you read Hobby Lobby’s Sale Schedule! As promised, I said I would start posting Hobby Lobby’s shopping tips!  For those of you that missed their set grand opening date on Long Island, you can read about that here: Hobby Lobby Opening New Store Commack, Long Island.  

I will also be sharing their coupon policy/shopping tips with you guys but I thought I would start with their sale schedule!  Some items never go on sale and they will be in the list below.  Their sales cycles vary from every 2-4 weeks, depending on the item(s).  I hope this helps you guys determine when to do your shopping there!

Mobile saving apps are great because they really let you maximize your savings, you can redeem any of the offers, even if you have used store and manufacturer coupons.  You do need a smartphone to download the app.  Currently there are 3 apps to be able to get extra money from, but I am also going to cover the Walmart app here.

The first is MobiSave, you need to click on the offer you want before you shop, once you have purchased the item(s) on your list, all you have to do is submit your store receipt by taking a picture of your receipt, then it will be transferred into a PayPal account, you do need a PayPal account for this app.
